DAMOSE PARENTEAU FAMILY HISTORY

Damose and Adeline Parenteau moved to Norway Valley, Alberta from Midnight Lake, Saskatchewan (not far from North Battleford), in the year of 1915. They lived at Norway Valley for 27 years then they moved to Wandering River in 1942 where they both passed away within a year. Damose Parenteau passed away on November 5, 1942 and Adeline Parenteau passed away on October 9, 1943. They are both buried at the Lac La Biche mission.
From their marriage there were eleven children: Eva (died in 1968) buried in St. Albert, Alberta. Flora (Hebert) died in 1961, buried in Breynat, Alberta. Arthur living in St. Paul, Alberta. Jules living in Drayton Valley, Alberta. Rosie (Foulds) living in New Westminster, B.C. Josephine (Gervais) died December 10, 1942. Buried in North Battle- ford, Sask. Virginia (Dow) living in Yellowknife, N.W.T. Dan living in Edmonton, Alberta. George died in 1966 buried in Surrey, B.C. Sam living in Drayton Valley, Alberta. Adeline died in infancy buried in Frog Lake, Alberta.
