This picture, is from our “small band festival”, and was the prelude to the campouts that now fill this river flat with all kinds of campers, their followers and musicians, every summer... there is a nice camp kitchen, and a gazebo, plus fire pits...you can also find a fair amount of power outlets, and nicely mowed grass, thanks, to Babe Sharkey, who either cuts it, or sees that the job get’s done, here and up around the community hall... now in the 2000’s this area is used by a vast amount of R.V.er’s with truck loads of quads or snowmobiles, depending on the season, arriving for the weekend or just a day, to make use of the “iron horse trail”
